Scott Borland
Assistant Project Manager
Scott Borland has an extensive project management and technology-specific background. Working for various builders and general
contractors in Orange County and San Francisco, Borland has gained substantial experience in the understanding and assessment
of the residential and commercial building process. With a strong background in consultative sales and business development,
his needs analysis skills enable him to consistently meet customer expectations.
A native of Orange County California, Borland holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of San
Francisco and a master's degree in Business with a Technology Management emphasis from the University of Phoenix.
Prior to joining JL Hare, Borland specialized in product management and implementation of new technology solutions to large
metropolitan school districts throughout the United States for Scantron Corporation.
Borland joined JL Hare in March 2006 as a Project Coordinator and provides pivotal coordination of residential, industrial, and
commercial projects. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing project schedules, and ensuring timely
execution of each assigned project. Borland has been influential on projects located within the confines of the County of
Orange including: the Hearthside Homes 'Brightwater' development in Bolsa Chica. He has also been instrumental in the
processing of 'Tonner Hills' in the City of Brea and for First Industrial Realty in the County of Los Angeles. In his spare
time you'll find him surfing, snowboarding or building things in his workshop.
