Jason Finnell
Project Manager
Jason Finnell oversees the permit process for many of J. L. Hare's prominent residential, commercial and
recreational projects. He culls from 15 years experience in the building industry to ensure that the proper permits
are obtained in an efficient and timely manner. He understands developers' issues and the importance of keeping
construction on schedule. Finnell spends much of his time pre-planning. As a key member of project management
teams, much of Finnell's work is dedicated to eliminating obstacles before they become a problem. This is why his
understanding of each phase of construction is so pertinent to the project's development.
Finnell's strong background reaches into all aspects of construction. He has managed the permit process for the
removal, addition and new construction of luxury homes in Orange County, directed heavily numbered construction
crews and conducted in-depth building safety inspections.
While at J. L. Hare Associates, Finnell has worked on such well-known Southern California projects as: William Lyon
Homes' Amarante and Walden Park; Lennar Homes' Lennar Verano; and Standard Pacific Homes' Alisal and Bannister. He
also project managed a commercial project: Crystal Cove Promenade, Laguna Beach and a recreational facility,
Aquatic Park, Ladera Ranch.
Finnell holds a bachelor of arts degree in business finance and real estate from California State University, Long
Beach. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree in urban and regional planning and development from the University
of Southern California, Los Angeles.
