Jackie Hare
President
Since 1988, Jackie Hare has
teamed with some of the largest
residential and commercial developers
in the state, including The
Irvine Company, William Lyon
Homes, Pulte Homes and Rancho
Mission Viejo. She has expedited
thousands of permits and entitlements
for projects in more than
40 Southern California cities. She
often works with multiple agencies
simultaneously to ensure that
permit plans are in accordance
with water, fire and health department
regulations.
She also keeps communications
flowing between teams of
civil engineers, architects, developers
and construction managers so
building can proceed in conjunction
with permit approvals.
Hare has spent many years
working as an agency advocate,
including 10 years as a member on
the Orange County Development
Processing Review Committee. She
has developed the Orange County
master repeat tract permit process;
initiated the Orange County repeat
tract plan check and permit fees
reduction policy; initiated the
Orange County Fire Authority
master plan approval; played a
key role in the City of Lake Forest
OCFA plan review workshop;
and served on the City of Irvine
and County of Orange interview
boards.
During her 13-year employment
at the Mission Viejo Co.,
Hare managed and obtained building
permits for residential and
commercial projects, and
processed real estate subdivision
reports and VA/FHA approvals.
Hare maintains a strong presence
in the following industry
groups: Building Industry
Association of Southern California,
Orange County Chapter; Home
Builders Council; California
Building Industry Association,
Sacramento; Associates of
Commercial Retail Executives; and
National Association of Office &
Industrial Properties.
